Born in Bagru
Growing up in the vibrant lanes of Bagru, Rajasthan, I have been surrounded by the rhythmic thumping of wooden blocks and the scent of natural dyes since childhood. This 450-year-old craft isn't just something I discovered—it's part of who I am.
A Lifelong Connection
I didn't set out to start a fashion brand; my journey was born out of a profound respect for my home. Living in Bagru my whole life, I was always mesmerized by the "Chippa" (printer) community around me.
Sitting with the artisans, listening to their stories over chai, I always knew this wasn't just a printing technique—it was a way of life. The natural vegetable dyes, the intricate hand-carved wooden blocks, and the generational skill passed down from parent to child are woven into my earliest memories.

The Birth of SA Fab
I noticed a gap. While the world appreciated the beauty of block prints, the artisans rarely received the global recognition or fair compensation they deserved. Furthermore, I wanted to create clothing that celebrated real bodies—inclusive, comfortable, and beautifully crafted.
That's when SA Fab was born. My mission became clear: to bridge the gap between rural artisans and global fashion enthusiasts, creating a sustainable ecosystem where the craft thrives and the creators are empowered.
